Instructions on how to use the lid:

Lift the lid section directly up from the body.  Twist the lid and release it slowly back down to the body.  After use, simply lift up, twist and place back in the original setting.  There is a large magnet on the bottom of the lid that will attach itself to the body.  This is one of the safest lid designs on a dugout.
