All the parts screw together, excluding the lid, which is magnetic.  We have sold thousands of these to happy customers for over a decade.  They have a great track record of standing the test of time and not failing the user.  Simply put a small amount of dried herb in the main compartment, put the lid on and twist both ways.  Eventually the herb will collect in the grinder and the small stuff will filter through.  The crystallized resin will make its way to the bottom chamber.  You can leave it there for multiple uses and then collect it when you want the high grade potency of the pollen.
